Memories I'd like to share- My first hours in the college

I took this photo of the back place (where the tennis court is) during one of our P.E classes
When I was 17, I went to Swanage, England for a couple weeks. The purpose was to learn more English in an international college called Harrow House. When we arrived in London, two persons from the college took us to Swanage. My friends and I were so tired that we fell asleep the whole road, and that was like 2 or 3 hours from London to Swanage!

We woke up a few miles before we arrive at the college. We got there at 9 p.m. Two persons from the college’s staff were waiting for us, they guide us to Satoe Hall and there we sat down in the bleachers the hall has. I remember that hall has a smell like a barn, it was a quite rare smell, but even now I miss it.

The staff welcomed us and gave us a plastic bag with a bottle of water, a chicken-mayonnaise sandwich, and some chocolate bars. While we were eating them they explained to us the college rules and gave us our room number and code to open the door. Then they did a very little tour of the college, mainly the billiards room and the LookOut Lounge, a place where we could buy food during the class recess, it has a counter where they had doughnuts, panini (a ham and cheese sandwich) and soft drinks. The place was decorated with flags from all the countries and has little tables and sofas. When the staff showed us the room, they were having a party, actually, every Friday they had parties in that lounge.

After that, my friends and I went to our room, that was in the fourth and last floor! we had to climb the stair with our big luggage! We arrived almost dead in our room. Also, we had to go to sleep early because the day after we had an excursion to Oxford.
